I probably have never written a more honest text about myself. More direct. Without using comparisons and metaphors. Because I had the idea that in a world of lies (where we are now), the best weapon is the undisguised truth, although it may be upsetting and not very beautiful. There are even a few people whom I wouldn't let read Save the Light... My mom, for example... Just kidding. One European theater asked me to write this play at the beginning of the war, but it was too difficult to write immediately. I missed all the deadlines, and I stopped writing several times. I finished the play a month after it was supposed to be delivered. Therefore, it finally reached the stage not in the theater it was planned for. The premiere took place in London. I received a very large number of responses, which was unexpected. People were amazed at the mundaneness of the things I was talking about. Because war takes place without slow music in the background and big dialogues like in Hamlet. War is a collection of emotions that reinforce our tendencies. Therefore, for example, I touch on the topic of abuse and other social phenomena that have not disappeared anywhere. Why is this war happening to us, the residents of a developed country in the center of Europe? I will probably write many more plays in search of an answer to this question.
